It’s been quite and adventure exploring the hot-and-spicy liquor landscape exclusively for the Burn! Blog. To my surprise, I’ve been able to perfectly time this particular review with the public retail release of a brand new liquor from Wild Turkey: American Honey Sting, which is being introduced nationally this winter.

Beer: New Mexico Does What It Does Best; Green Chile in Everything
In the light of last month’s Burn Blog story about Stone’s “beers that burn,” I searched for other options in the world of chile beers, and found one just over the mountains in the east, from Sierra Blanca Brewing Company in Moriarty, New Mexico.
Stone Brewing presents: Beers that Burn
I suppose there will be a day when I run out of hot and spicy alcohol to sip on, but we’re not there yet. The latest came when Chamuco’s Tequila CEO Mark Howard gave me a bottle of the company’s reposado to review. From the snazzy box to the handmade artisan bottle and all the way to the taste, my old buddy’s touch is definitely evident.
