Fighting loose barbecue sauce during a rib bender is eating’s shoveling sand against the tide. You’re eventually going to lose. Much like Star Trek’s Kobyashi Maru test (i.e. no win scenario), it’s a test of character with no shot at victory. Eventually, some of that sweet red yummy is going to fall on your shirt, forcing you to deal with it. That’s why you see so few tuxedos at barbecue competitions.
Pierce The Veil’s New Hot Sauce
Just in time for Cinco de Mayo! Rockers Pierce The Veil are cranking up the heat with a new hot sauce called “Ragin’ Cajun.” The new hot sauce blends habanero and cayenne peppers, garlic, onion, vinegar, black pepper and salt and is available in 5 oz. bottles. “Ragin’ Cajun” is Pierce The Veil’s third hot sauce to date, following the “En Fuego Hot Sauce” and “Diablo Verde Hot Sauce.”
Kung Pao Chocolate
I like the concept of crowdfunding but I hate the name. It’s too PC for me. “Guerilla financing” just sounds more revolutionary if not not outright dangerous.
Speaking of which, Kung Pao Chocolate Bars has started an Indiegogo campaign to launch the release of its first 10,000 candy bars. They’re a new confection that brings sweet milk chocolate together with a proprietary blend of chile and spices that to make an awesome candy bar.
