Right about now, Dave DeWitt is doing his best impression of a chicken missing its noggin. Not because he has a weird sense of humor (although he does), however. No, this is the time of year when we at Sunbelt Media run around in final preparation for the National Fiery Foods and Barbecue Show at the Sandia Resort & Casino. 2013 Scovie Winners Announced
The judging is over, our taste buds are back to what passes for normal, and we have this year’s Scovie champions. Congratulations to Lusty Monk Mustard, of Albuquerque, New Mexico for claiming top honors as the Grand Prize Winner in the Tasting Division, and Jungle Heat Sauces and Jellies of Ontario, Canada, as the Grand Prize Winner in the Marketing and Advertising Division. These two winners will each receive a Disc-It outdoor cooker.
