Meet the Sonic Reaper Margarita Slush

Last summer Sonic gifted us with the dubious present known as the Pickle Slush. Now they’ve topped that with the new Reaper Spicy Margarita. As you’d expect, the mocktail features concentrated Carolina Reapers, the hottest chile on the planet.

Each year Sonic rolls out three summer mocktail slushes, including the aforementioned pickle juice concoction. It’s a fun promo that lets us explore culinary territory that we’d normally never consider; some would say with good reason. This year, Sonic’s asking fans to share their reactions to the new Reaper libation on social media using the #ReaperChallenge hashtag.
The Reaper Spicy Margarita Slush, and its new Piña Colada, and Strawberry Daiquiri siblings, is now available at participating Sonic locations. If you don’t want to pay full price, get half off during Happy Hour between 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. local time.
