Dave DeWitt has been a pope, a space captain, editor, author, and God only knows what other cool job title. Well, God and Dave, that is. A little while ago, Dave went back to one of those gigs briefly when he appeared on “A Taste of the Past.” It’s a radio show about food history, both of which he knows quite a bit about. He’s also worked in radio so the Pope of Peppers was right at home going on-air to talk about the history of hot sauce. If you missed the show, you can find it on the Heritage Radio Network website or listen to it at Dave’s personal blog.
