USA Today says our very own National Fiery Foods & Barbecue Show has been nominated in their 2019 10Best Readers’ Choice travel awards! “Our expert panel selected National Fiery Foods & Barbecue Show as a contender for Best Specialty Food Festival, which just launched,” USA Today told us. Usually when I get recognized by a panel, it’s one comprised of my peers and precedes community service, so woohoo!

Yep, it was a face-melting experience.

The contest, which is being promoted by USA TODAY, gives voters four weeks to vote for the candidate of their choice right here. A person can vote once a day for the run of the contest. Voting ends Monday, March 11th and the winners will be announced on 10Best on Friday, March 22nd, then later on USA Today. You can read the official rules here.
